Here are the ones I hear most.

Q: Will my department find out I'm coming here?

No. What you share in session is completely confidential. I am bound by Florida and Nebraska law and professional ethics to protect your privacy. Your employer, your command staff, and your union will never know you were here — unless you ask me to tell them.

Q: Will this go on my record?

Therapy with a private practice provider does not appear in your employment record, your personnel file, or any law enforcement database. You are a private client. Period.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I accept the following:

  • Tricare and Tricare for Life

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • United Healthcare

  • Florida Blue

  • Health Advocate EAP

  • Most major insurance through Headway

  • Private pay: $130 per 50-minute session

Not sure if your plan is covered? Ask me before your first session. Most people are surprised — it's more affordable than they thought.

Q: Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. If coming in person feels like too much right now, we can meet online. All telehealth sessions are conducted through a secure, confidential platform. You can be anywhere in Florida or Nebraska.

Q: What if I'm not sure I'm ready?

That's okay. You don't have to be ready. You just have to show up once. We'll figure out the rest together.

Q: Can I bring Gilbert into my session?

Yes — and a lot of people find it helps. Gilbert is a certified therapy K9 and an active part of the clinical work here. Just let me know when you book and we'll make sure he's there.

Q: Do you work with military and veterans?

Yes. I work with active duty military, veterans, and their families across Florida and Nebraska. I accept Tricare and Tricare for Life, and I understand the specific culture and pressures of military service.
